How to use water stone 1000/3000?
- Soak the stone in water for 10–15 minutes
- Place it on a rubber mat or a damp cloth – the surface must be stable.
- Maintain an angle of ~ 15° and make smooth, even movements from the base to the tip of the blade.
- Start with side #1000 (sharpening), then move on to #3000 (smoothing and polishing).
- After use, rinse the stone and knife, dry them and store them in a dry place.
